Visa regulations to Jordan

AIRPORTS

Queen Alia International Airport "QAIA": Located in Amman, 35 KMS from the downtown area. Serviced by many global airline carriers, and considered as the main Airport in Jordan.

 

Marka Airport: Regional airport in Amman, servicing domestic and nearby international routes

 

King Hussein International Airport "KHIA": Jordan’s gateway to the Red Sea Region of Aqaba. The airport is serviced by national and international carriers

 

LAND BORDERS

Ramtha Border: Northern Border with the Syrian Arab Republic, 90 KMS away from Amman

Saturday – Friday: 24 Hours

 

Jaber Border: Northern Border with the Syrian Arab Republic, 80 KMS away from Amman

Saturday – Friday: 24 Hours

 

Sheikh Hussein Bridge: Northern Border with Israel, located in the north of Jordan close to the Lake of Tiberias

Saturday – Friday: 24 hours

 

King Hussein Bridge "Allenby": Crossing Point with Israel, located in the southern Jordan Valley, 57 KMs away from Amman.

     Sunday – Thursday: Arrivals (8:00 AM – 20:00 PM) // Departures (8:00 AM – 14:00 PM)

Friday: Arrivals & Departures (8:00 AM – 13:00 PM)

Saturday: CLOSED

 

IMPORTANT

Visa CANNOT be obtained at King Hussein Bridge "Allenby"

* Private cars and tour buses CANNOT cross. Coaches MUST be changed for crossing

Clients departing Jordan through King Hussein Bridge "Allenby" to Israel are allowed to return back from the same border "Crossing Point"

 

Wadi Araba Border: Southern Border with Israel, located in the south of Jordan, 324 KMS from Amman

Sunday-Thursday: 6:30 AM – 22:00 PM

Friday – Saturday: 8:00 AM – 20:00 PM

Closed on Islamic New Year & Yom Kippur

The Port of Aqaba: Southern Border with the Arab Republic of Egypt, situated on the north shore of the Gulf of Aqaba

 

 

VISA REGULATIONS

Individual Visa (1-4 Pax)

  • Single & Multiple Entry Visa for Jordan could be applied for at Jordan Embassies or Consulates around the world

  • Single Entry visa could be obtained at the borders, with exception for restricted nationalities; where advance permission is required from the Ministry of interior in the Hashemite Kingdome of Jordan

  • Single Entry Visa is JOD 10.00, equivalent to US$ 15.00 Per Person, to be    paid in Jordanian Dinnars

  • As of January 1st 2011, Single Entry Visa will be JOD 20.00, equivalent to US$ 29.00 Per Person, to be paid in Jordanian Dinnars

 

 

Group Visa (5 Pax and above)

Free Collective Visa could be arranged for a group of 5 participants and above, arriving and departing altogether, with a minimum stay of 2 consecutive nights
